Liverpool came from behind to beat Norwich City on Saturday afternoon with Luis Diaz absolutely dazzling Sky Sports pundit Tim Sherwood.
The Reds fell behind to the Premier League strugglers as Milot Rashica’s strike took a huge deflection of Joel Matip on its way into the net.
Sadio Mane’s acrobatic effort drew Liverpool level before Alisson – yes, Alisson – set up Mohamed Salah for 2-1.
New signing Luis Diaz then grabbed his first Liverpool goal, dinking past Angus Gunn having been played in by Jordan Henderson.
There was no Diogo Jota, no Roberto Firmino and no Andrew Robertson against Norwich but Jurgen Klopp’s men still grabbed the win.
Diaz will be ecstatic to have got off the mark for Liverpool having joined the Reds from Porto in January.
Once looking Tottenham-bound, Diaz ended up joining Liverpool instead. In a huge £49million deal, Liverpool managed to gazump their rivals.
The Colombian has turned in encouraging displays for Liverpool so far and can now really kick on after his first goal for the club.
Stationed on the left flank against Norwich, Diaz racked up five key passes in a superb performance.

Having seen Diogo Jota arrive and break into the famed Liverpool front three, Diaz could now follow suit in the years to come.
Pundit Sherwood certainly thinks Liverpool have a major talent on their hands as he raved about Diaz’s performance.
Speaking on Soccer Saturday, the former Tottenham and Aston Villa boss suggested that Diaz was the best player on the pitch for Liverpool.
Sherwood added that Diaz was just as good out of possession as he was in possession, praising him for an ‘absolutely magnificent’ Anfield display.
“Luis Diaz has been the best player on the pitch,” said Sherwood. “Out of possession he goes and gets it back as quickly as possible, in possession he’s absolutely magnificent, He penetrates every time he gets the ball,” he added.
