Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho has been an integral part of his side’s success this season.
Speaking live on Sky Sports Now at 10:25 am on November 28th, Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher explained how the potential long-term absence of Reds star Philippe Coutinho could have a huge effect on his former side’s Premier League title hopes.
The Brazilian has been instrumental so far this season in helping fire his side to second position in the table, contributing with five goals and five assists in 13 league outings for Jürgen Klopp’s men.

And Carragher discussed the potential impact his impending absence will have on the Liverpool team, when speaking live on Sky Sports Now:
“It could be huge. He’s Liverpool’s best player. I think Liverpool’s XI, playing week in week out can match up to almost any team in the league. Have they got the squad the other sides have got? I don’t think so to be honest. It is a worry going forward, and it will affect them.”
Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho sustains his injury
The 24-year-old suffered an ankle injury against Sunderland on Saturday that forced him off in the 34th minute of the game, and is due to have a scan today, as Liverpool look to cover the full extent of the damage.
Fortunately for Klopp, Liverpool’s next three league fixtures are against teams in the bottom half of the table, so they should be able to safely navigate those games, and will be hoping that their mercurial play-maker returns sooner rather than later.
