The former Liverpool star believes Manchester United fans will be jealous of Jürgen Klopp’s side.

Danny Murphy smiles during the Fulham press conference ahead of the UEFA Europa League final match against Atletico Madrid at HSH Nordbank Arena on May 11, 2010 in Hamburg, Germany.

Former Liverpool star Danny Murphy sat down for an exclusive interview with bwin, and shared why he believes Manchester United fans will be jealous of what they are seeing at Anfield.

Liverpool have been quite simply sensational to watch over the past few years under Jürgen Klopp, and the Merseyside outfit are being heavily tipped to push Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side all the way in the race for the Premier League title this season.

Manchester United, meanwhile, have looked rather laboured under Jose Mourinho, with many United fans bemoaning the manner in which the Portuguese has his team playing.

And that’s something that Murphy believes will not be tolerated at Old Trafford.

The former Liverpool star spoke exclusively to bwin, and suggested that United fans will be looking over at their bitter north-west rivals with envy:

“I think a lot of Manchester United fans will look at the way Klopp has Liverpool playing with such attacking intent and they will be envious. Liverpool are always on the front foot, with fast movement and excellent speed of passing. More crucially, Liverpool are never in fear of the opposition and they can’t be accused of giving their opponent too much respect. I think Manchester United fans will look at that and wish it was what they were watching at Old Trafford.”

It is obviously still very early days, with a long way to go before the end of the season, but if the first couple of games are anything to go by, United with have their work cut-out, if they are to finish above Liverpool this term.
