Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina is locked in a race against time to be fit for the Merseyside derby against Everton this weekend. Reina is carrying a hamstring injury and has been replaced for the time being by Brad Jones. Reina is unlikely to be back in time for Liverpool’s Europa League match against Anzhi.

Kraft was linked with the club six years ago but did not go through with any deal due to the stadium situation at Anfield. He has confirmed that he is happy he never agreed, what would have been, a large but difficult process.
