Germany World Cup winner Klinsmann and the Reds boss Klopp come from villages close to each other in Baden-Wurttemberg in the south-west of Germany.

Germany legend Jurgen Klinsmann has piled the praise on Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, saying he is a perfect fit for the Anfield outfit, as reported in The Mirror.
In addition, he suggested that the Reds head coach’s first thought the day after winning the Champions League would have been simply to get working on retaining it next season.
Liverpool have enjoyed a superb 2018-19 campaign, tussling with Manchester City in an epic Premier League title clash which saw them finish second on a gargantuan 97 points.
In Europe, meanwhile, they surged to their first Champions League title since 2005, overcoming the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Barcelona before seeing off Tottenham Hotspur in the final.
Under Klopp, the Reds have gone from strength to strength since his arrival in 2015, turning them into bona fide title challengers, regularly getting them to finals – including in the Champions League in 2017-18 – and giving them their sixth European Cup.
Klinsmann, a World Cup winner with Germany in 1990 and former manager of his nation as well as Bayern Munich and the United States, comes from a village close to Klopp’s home town in Baden-Wurttemberg, a state in the south west of the country, and Klinsmann said that the work ethic in the region is evident in the manager’s dedication.

“Klopp fits Liverpool so perfectly because his background is very humble,” he said. “His background is blue collar, hard-working, they live and die for their club and so, his whole life basically was always very, very closely connected to the people, to the neighbourhoods.
“He’s a workaholic because that’s in our blood where we come from. He’s [a] sponge that always wants to learn and always wants to look at what is next… and it never gets saturated. One thing is for sure – he will never, ever rest. Winning the Champions League final now, the first thought of him a day later will be, ‘how do I win this next year?'”
