Liverpool are in no real danger of losing Jurgen Klopp any time soon, but Julian Naglesmann may already fancy replacing him at Anfield.
Klopp’s contract with Liverpool runs until the summer of 2024, meaning he still has two more years in charge of the Reds.
That would take Klopp further with Liverpool than with any other club.
Seven years with Mainz and seven years with Borussia Dortmund could now be followed by nine years with Liverpool.
The Reds will surely hope that stint lasts even longer but Klopp has been non-committal over signing a new contract.
So where could Liverpool turn if Klopp goes?
The two most popular shouts are Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard, who is of course a Liverpool legend, and Pepijn Lijnders, Klopp’s current assistant.
Now though, Sky Sports claim that Bayern Munich boss Nagelsmann fancies a move to Liverpool or Manchester City in the coming years.
It’s suggested that Nagelsmann prefers them to Manchester United and is eyeing up replacing Klopp or Pep Guardiola.
Nagelsmann is somehow still only 34 but continues to shine as one of the top European coaches.

After impressing at Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig, Naglesmann has lost just five games in 38 at Bayern and looks on course for a league title.
Klopp left German football before Nagelsmann had really emerged but he remains a huge fan of the Bayern boss.
As quoted on the Bundesliga’s official website, Klopp called Nagelsmann a ‘big, big, big coaching talent’ and praised his style of play.
Not to sound like Sir Alex Ferguson recommending David Moyes as his own replacement, but Klopp may well back a move for Nagelsmann to succeed him.
With Nagelsmann being so young, there is plenty of time for a Liverpool move in the future, and we can only hope that Klopp is still at Anfield for a while yet.
