Liverpool want Jude Bellingham and they have a perfect opportunity to watch him in action against bitter rivals Manchester City on Wednesday.
The Reds have a Champions League clash of their own this week as Jurgen Klopp’s men take on Ajax on Tuesday night.
After a 4-1 thrashing at Napoli last week, Liverpool really need to respond with a big victory this week.
Liverpool need to focus on that game but their scouts should be heading to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.

Liverpool want Jude Bellingham
It’s clear that Liverpool need midfield reinforcements.
James Milner is starting to show his age in midfield whilst Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita are out of contract next summer.
Add in that Arthur Melo is only on loan and it’s time for Liverpool to spend big on a midfielder.
That deal will surely come in 2023 with FSG expecting Jude Bellingham to join next summer according to the Daily Mail.
Liverpool will surely need to pay around £100million to make that deal happen but FSG appear confident that a deal will happen.
The Reds will already have plenty of information compiled about Bellingham but Wednesday presents a golden opportunity.
Bellingham will be featuring for Borussia Dortmund as they travel to take on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
Liverpool’s biggest rivals in the Premier League – at least from a Premier League position standpoint – are Manchester City.
Klopp and co need to know that whoever comes in to freshen up their midfield can handle a game against Pep Guardiola’s men.
Bellingham now has the chance to nail that audition on Wednesday.
City will be able to deploy players like Rodri, Kalvin Phillips, Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva in midfield.
Any three of those will pose a major test for Bellingham and he needs to pass with flying colours.
A bad game likely won’t put Liverpool off, but a good game would really prove that Bellingham is the right man for the Reds moving forward.
