Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have joined Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the race for Borussia Monchengladbach star Marcus Thuram, but a potential transfer depends on the future of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, according to FussballTransfers.
Liverpool linked with Arsenal target Marcus Thuram
The report has claimed that Liverpool are interested in signing Monchengladbach star Marcus Thuram in the summer of 2023.
However, Bayern Munich are also keen on securing the services of the 25-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as a winger.
The defending Bundesliga champions want to sign Kane from Tottenham next summer, but if they are unable to bring in the England international striker, then Thuram is their back-up option.
Liverpool are not the only Premier League club who want to sign the 25-year-old.
Earlier this month, MilanLive reported that Arsenal, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are also monitoring the France international forward.

Marcus Thuram has been on the books of Borussia Monchengladbach since 2019 and has established himself as one of the better forwards in the Bundesliga.

Thuram scored three goals in eight Bundesliga starts last season, and scored eight goals and gave two assists in 20 Bundesliga starts in 2020-21.
