Jamie Carragher has taken to Twitter to suggest that Liverpool should be trying to sign Borussia Dortmund ace Jude Bellingham this summer.
Oh how almost every team in the world would love to sign Bellingham.
Bellingham showed immense potential at Birmingham City, with Dortmund winning the race for him in 2020.
Still only 18, Bellingham not only played for England at Euro 2020 but has now kicked on again with Dortmund.
Bellingham has four goals and nine assists in all competitions this season, shining as a box-to-box midfielder.
Dortmund will soon face major interest for Bellingham – just as they do whenever they have a talented young player.
The Mirror claimed in December that Liverpool are ‘making plans’ to sign Bellingham at the end of the season.
There’s a real belief that Liverpool can sign Bellingham in a huge deal worth £90million.
Liverpool didn’t spend to replace Georginio Wijnaldum, so biding their time to sign Bellingham does seem to fit the Reds’ approach.
Now, former Liverpool defender and current pundit Jamie Carragher has given his view.
Carragher has taken to Twitter to suggest that Bellingham is the player Liverpool should focus on signing.
Rather than suggest a move in this month’s transfer window, Carragher would just be happy to see Bellingham join Liverpool in the summer.
