Liverpool legend praises the prolific Egyptian, saying that he is the best in the world.

Mohamed Salah is unquestionably in the form of his life. He has set both England and Europe alight with his performances; guiding Liverpool to a top-four finish and a place in the Champions League semi-finals.
Salah scored twice again on Tuesday night as Liverpool smashed AS Roma 5-2 at Anfield in the first-leg European clash. This brought Salah’s tally for the season to 43 goals in 47 appearances in all competitions.

Speaking to Liverpool’s official website, Liverpool and England legend Steven Gerrard had more praise to shower on the prolific Egyptian forward.
“It’s difficult to compare him to [Cristiano] Ronaldo and [Lionel] Messi because they have done it for so long and they have been consistent year in, year out,” Gerrard said.
“But without a shadow of a doubt he’s the best player on the planet right now.”

Salah signed for Liverpool from Roma for a fee of around £37.8 million in the summer of 2017 and has easily been the best Premier League signing of the season. The former Chelsea man has scored a goal every 86 minutes in the league; a fantastic return on the Reds’ investment, which, in the current market, was a bargain.
Looking ahead to the World Cup in Russia, Salah will be hoping to continue his good run of form with Egypt and the whole world will be eagerly watching his performances.
