Ibrahim Adel has been linked with Liverpool but Pyramids FC have yet to receive any official contact from the Reds about a move.

The Reds have been recruiting for the future of late as they look to build a team for the years to come.

Just look at the ages of Liverpool’s summer signings; Darwin Nunez is 23, Fabio Carvalho is just 20 and Calvin Ramsay is only 19.

Further down the ranks, Liverpool have added teenagers Ben Doak and Trent Kone-Doherty with more young talent likely on the radar.

Ibrahim Adel has been linked with Liverpool

A new name emerged last week as 90Min claimed that Liverpool are eyeing Pyramids FC talent Ibrahim Adel.

It was suggested that Mohamed Salah has made people at Liverpool aware of Adel’s quality and the Reds are keeping tabs on him.

Liverpool are far from alone in taking a look at Adel though with Arsenal, Brentford, Brighton and Nottingham Forest all keen too.

Adel, 21, has racked up 22 goals in 78 games for Pyramids FC, adding nine assists too.

Primarily a left winger, Adel now has three caps for Egypt and is featuring alongside Liverpool superstar Salah.

It would be quite the moment for Egyptian football if Adel and Salah were to join forces in the Premier League but Liverpool haven’t made a move yet.

Pyramids FC director of football Mahmoud Fathallah has told Kingfut that whilst Adel is a huge talent, there has been no direct contact from Liverpool yet.

Fathallah believes any Liverpool interest would be a positive for Adel, the club and for Egyptian football but a deal seemingly isn’t in the pipeline.

“Ibrahim Adel is a huge talent for us and for Egyptian football,” Fathallah said. “The rumours regarding the Liverpool interest in him is good, but there is nothing official happened related to the matter,” he added.

These comments may just leave the door open for other clubs to swoop in with the likes of Arsenal and Forest surely watching developments closely.
