Fabrizio Romano has claimed in Anfield Watch that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are attentive to the situation of Leeds United winger Raphinha amid interest from Barcelona.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that although Barcelona have started discussions with Raphinha’s agent Deco, Liverpool are attentive to the situation and have not giving up on signing the £17 million Brazil international winger (The Athletic).
Romano wrote in Anfield Watch: “The latter is certainly high up on the list, but Barcelona have already started discussions with his agent, Deco, in order to steal the march on rival clubs and gain the upper-hand over his potential signature.
“Liverpool remain attentive to the situation, and at this stage it’s an option that is certainly being taken into consideration.”

Raphinha would make Liverpool even better
In our opinion, Raphinha would make Liverpool an even better and more potent team than they are right now.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp now has Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz at his disposal in attack.
Just imagine if Klopp is able to add Raphinha to that attack…
Liverpool would become unstoppable.
The Brazil international is a very hard-working winger who has pace and can dribble past opposition players.
The Leeds winger has scored nine goals and provided three assists in 27 Premier League starts so far this season.
In our view, Raphinha would fit in perfectly at Liverpool, just like Diaz has since his move from FC Porto in the January transfer window.
