Liverpool are reportedly considering making a £26m bid for Brazilian attacker Luan.

Liverpool are reportedly close to signing Brazilian forward, Luan. According to reports from the Daily Mirror, the Reds are planning a £26 million swoop for the Gremio star.
The report suggests that Reds manager, Jurgen Klopp, has been tracking the striker for a year with an intention to team him up with other Liverpool’s other Brazilian stars Lucas, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino.
Luan has reportedly turned down an offer of a new contract extension from Gremio a month ago, and The Mirror reports that Liverpool are closing in on a deal with the Brazilian club for the 24-year-old.

The amount may seem too much, given he has only a year left on his current deal, but it seems The Reds are ready to pay a huge figure (even if it is over the top) for a player they have scouted for the past 12 months.
The Mirror adds that the player’s representatives have made contact with Anfield representatives last month where terms were discussed.
Liverpool are reportedly confident of signing the player and the Anfield club would be in a strong position for negotiation if they qualify for the Champions League.
Luan played a key role in helping Brazil win Olympic gold alongside Neymar and City’s Gabriel Jesus. He is often branded as the ‘new Ronaldinho’, because of a similar playing style.
