Liverpool are being backed to sign Memphis Depay from Manchester United according to bookmakers Ladbrokes, who have cut prices on a potential switch.
Ladbrokes cut prices from 7/2 to 7/4 yesterday (Wednesday) that the Reds will prise Depay away from the Red Devils.

Depay would become the first player in more than 52 years to switch directly between the two clubs.
Ladbrokes News’ Dave Burin told HITC Sport: “Man United fans will have a new Public Enemy No. 1 if their big-money buy swaps the Stretford End for the Kop this summer.”
Depay chose to sign with United over Liverpool last summer, SkySports reported, but he had an underwhelming first season at Old Trafford, despite playing under Louis van Gaal, who picked and played him in his Dutch World Cup side in 2014.

Liverpool have like United since changed bosses, and Jurgen Klopp could surely help Depay maximise his potential.
Depay though may want to try and make the most of his fresh start at Manchester United under Jose Mourinho, but the Portuguese boss could also have similar worries to Van Gaal over his willingness to defend.
While the odds may have been cut on Depay making the switch, it would still come as a surprise if it were to occur, and it may be doubtful whether the United board would want to sanction a deal which would strengthen their rivals.
