Sadio Mane has batted aside questions about his contract at Liverpool, with the attacker’s future at Anfield now in some doubt.
Liverpool fans are concerned that Sadio Mane could leave, after his comments to the Liverpool Echo.
Mane has until 2021 left on his contract, but Liverpool are attempting to tie him down to a new deal, to ensure that no troubles emerge further down the line.
However, as of yet, Liverpool have not been able to agree new terms with the new attacker.
And Mane seemed to deflect away from questions over his future at Anfield.
He said: “I am more focused on the games, things like contracts I leave with my agent.
“I am happy and concentrating on giving my best for my team-mates, my manager and the fans.”
Liverpool fans are now concerned that Mane’s comments are very similar to what Emre Can was saying, before he left for Juventus this summer.
If Mane was to leave Liverpool it would be a major blow to Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Mane has formed part of one of the most destructive attacks in the Premier League at Liverpool, alongside Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool managed to draw 1-1 with Arsenal in their latest match.
