Liverpool fans want Nabil Fekir signed – if Philippe Coutinho leaves.

Liverpool fans on Twitter have called on manager Jurgen Klopp to sign Nabil Fekir if Philippe Coutinho joins Barcelona this month.
The Lyon star has been linked with Arsenal and has emerged as one of Europe’s most impressive attacking midfielders after scoring 13 times in 16 Ligue 1 games this season.

Liverpool might well have to replace the Brazilian schemer after reports from Sport in Spain indicated that he has told the Reds he will not play for them again a bid to force a switch to Barcelona.
It leaves manager Jurgen Klopp with a Coutinho-shaped hole in his attack, but fans of the Anfield club have told the German to replace him with the French dynamo.

Fekir is indeed shaping up to be an outstanding player, but can he do it in the Premier League?
His former team-mate Alexandre Lacazette hasn’t set English football alight following his £52 million switch to Arsenal in the summer and Lacazette’s struggles might prompt a bit of reluctance.
Transfermarkt claim that Fekir has been playing attacking midfield this season, like Coutinho has done for the most part. He does seem like he could be a like-for-like replacement but time will tell whether Fekir – whose contract expires in 2020 – is a viable target this month.
