Liverpool fans on social networking site Twitter have urged manager Jurgen Klopp to include Dominic Solanke in the starting lineup against FC Porto.

The Merseyside outfit will take on Porto at Anfield in the second leg of the Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday evening.

The Reds won the first leg of the tie 5-0 away from home in Portugal last month and are firm favourites to progress through to the quarter-finals.

James Tarkowski of Burnley is challenged by Dominic Solanke of Liverpool during the Premier League match between Burnley and Liverpool at Turf Moor on January 1, 2018 in Burnley, England.

Solanke joined Liverpool in the summer of 2017 after leaving Premier League rivals Chelsea at the end of the 2016-17 season.

The 20-year-old England international striker has struggled for playing time for the Reds so far this season, starting just three Premier League matches and playing a total of 380 minutes of league football, according to WhoScored.

With Liverpool having virtually guaranteed their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League this season and with a big game against Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League coming up on Saturday, fans want manager Klopp to give Solanke a start against Porto.
