Schick impressed as he started the second leg between Roma and Liverpool on Wednesday night.

Liverpool inched past AS Roma into the Champions League final on Wednesday night despite impressive performances from a number of the Italian side’s players – and Reds fans want their club to sign one of those, namely Patrik Schick.
The 22-year-old impressed for the Italians as Roma manager Eusebio Di Francesco opted to start with two strikers against Jurgen Klopp’s side in an attempt to claw back the 5-2 first-leg deficit.
It almost worked, as Roma ended up with a 4-2 win on the night, but a 7-6 aggregate loss that sees Liverpool progress into the Champions League final against Real Madrid on May 26 in Kiev.

Sky Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claimed last summer that Liverpool were just one of a number of European heavyweights interested in Czech Republic striker Schick, along with Juventus, Roma and Atletico Madrid.
He chose to join Roma from Sampdoria, but has since struggled with Di Francesco’s side, scoring just three goals in 23 league and cup outings with preference given to Edin Dzeko.
Nonetheless, Liverpool fans liked what they saw during Wednesday night’s semi-final, and have urged their club to consider signing the former Sparta Prague striker in the summer.
