Loftus-Cheek is currently on a loan spell at Crystal Palace, and the midfielder’s performances have caught the eye.
The 21-year-old was selected to start by Roy Hodgson last night, as Palace fell to a 3-2 defeat against Arsenal, and his display earned credit once again.
Liverpool fans are now keen to see Loftus-Cheek snapped up, as they feel he could develop brilliantly with them.
Liverpool have shown an ability to prise Chelsea’s top prospects away from Stamford Bridge, with Dominic Solanke joining last summer.
Solanke has been given more first-team opportunities at Anfield, with Klopp seemingly keen to use the forward.
If Loftus-Cheek does return to Chelsea there is a question mark over where he would fit in, and a move to Merseyside could, therefore, aid his development.
Loftus-Cheek has made 16 Premier League appearances for Palace so far this season, scoring once and claiming three assists.
