Alberto Moreno has left Liverpool this summer as he will be looking for a new chapter in his footballing career.

Liverpool supporters and Virgil van Dijk wished Alberto Moreno ‘good luck’ on Twitter after he posted an emotional goodbye message to the club.
The 26-year-old, who moved to Anfield in 2014 for £12 million [BBC Sport], has left the club following the expiry of his contract on Sunday.
For the past few seasons, Moreno’s game time under Jurgen Klopp has decreased with, at first, utility man James Milner and then Andrew Roberton being ahead of him in the left-back pecking order.
Since moving to Liverpool, Moreno has always struggled to produce the goods from the defensive side of his game, as he failed to cut out his mistakes.
Therefore, it shouldn’t be a surprise that he is leaving, as Klopp will no doubt want to search for a back-up left-back for the fast and improving Robertson.

Despite ending his career with such little game time under his belt, Moreno does leave with a Champions League medal to his name, which the Reds won in Madrid last month.
Now, Moreno will begin a new chapter in his footballing career, as he could potentially cross paths with his former team again if he joins a rival European team.
