Liverpool fans are urging their side to sign one of Sadio Mane’s international teammates.

Mane helped Senegal to a 2-1 win against Poland in their Group H opener at Moscow’s Spartak Stadium on Tuesday, alongside Kalidou Koulibaly.

And with a potential vacancy to fill alongside Virgil van Dijk this summer, several Liverpool supporters believe they have identified Koulibaly as being the perfect fit.

Formerly of FC Metz and KRC Genk, Koulibaly now plays his club football in Italy, where he almost led Napoli to last season’s Serie A title.

And according to RAI Sport, it will cost £105 million to prise the 27-year-old away from San Paolo – which would represent a record outlay for Liverpool.

As well as Van Dijk, the Reds count Dejan Lovren, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan among their options at centre-back.

Should Liverpool break the bank to sign Koulibaly this summer?
