The Reds legend currently manages Rangers but will swap Ibrox for Anfield to take part in a charity game against AC Milan.

Liverpool have confirmed that club legend Steven Gerrard will play in March’s charity match against AC Milan Glorie at Anfield.
The club stalwart and ex-captain has been added to the Legends squad that was announced earlier in February and is set to line up alongside the likes of Jamie Carragher, Dirk Kuyt, Sami Hyypia, Daniel Agger and Robbie Fowler on Saturday, March 23.
Milan’s 26-man roster, meanwhile, includes the likes of Kaka, Andrea Pirlo, Paolo Maldini, Cafu and Alessandro Nesta for a game that will raise funds for LFC Foundation, the Premier League club’s official charity.
Gerrard made a total of 710 appearances across 17 seasons for Liverpool, lifting three League Cups, two FA Cups, the UEFA Cup, the European Super Cup and the Champions League, the latter especially notable given their heroic comeback from 3-0 down against Milan in 2005.

Now managing Rangers in the Scottish Premiership, the 38-year-old remains involved in football and is still in Britain, so he continues to be in the spotlight on these shores, but his impending return to Liverpool proved more than a little emotional for some Reds faithful.
