The Reds will be taking on the Foxes on Boxing Day in a late kickoff.
A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to praise the Anfield club for putting on free coach travel for the Reds fans looking to go to Leicester City away on Boxing Day (official website).
Following the latest round of fixture changes for broadcasting, Liverpool’s trip to the King Power Stadium has been scheduled for 8pm as the last of four Premier League games to be televised on the day.
With no trains running from Leicester to Liverpool until the next morning, the late kickoff presented major difficulties for travelling fans seeking to get home by public transport.
However, the Reds have confirmed on their official website that coaches will be provided for fans travelling to the King Power, departing from, and returning to, Arkles Lane in Liverpool.
Supporters have been asked to pay a reservation fee of £5 per seat – all proceeds received will go to the North Liverpool Foodbank – and further details will be announced by the club in due course.

Eight of Liverpool’s nine Premier League games during December and January have been rescheduled for television coverage, with only the fixture away to Bournemouth on Saturday, December 7 (3pm kick off) remaining untouched – the official Reds website lists all the changes.
