Ronaldo helped Juventus to a 1-0 win against United on his return to Old Trafford.
And Liverpool fans claim that they would have been fuming if a club legend like Ronaldo had celebrated in the same manner against them.
Ronaldo was serenaded off the pitch by United fans, who still fondly remember the Portuguese star’s time at the club.
The Red Devils’ performance during the contest was actually poor, with Juve not tested too much.
Massimiliano Allegri’s side scored in the first-half through Paulo Dybala, and United rarely threatened to get back into the contest after that.
United’s qualification out of their Champions League group now hangs in the balance, with trips to Valencia and Juventus still to come.
