Liverpool have been linked with a host of attackers ahead of the summer transfer window, but big names may be difficult to sign now.
The global pandemic means a deal for Kylian Mbappe surely won’t be happening now. Even targets like Timo Werner or Milot Rashica may become tough to land.
The Mirror claimed last week that Liverpool may now change their approach. The Reds could focus on signing talented teenagers rather than proven big names, due to the pandemic.
Two names were mentioned in that report; Mechelen midfielder Aster Vranckx and Vasco da Gama attacker Talles Magno.
Magno is a particularly fascinating prospect. The 17-year-old is considered as one of the top youngsters in Brazil, and is already a first-teamer at Vasco.
A well-built forward who can play up front or out wide, Magno has already hit three goals in six caps for Brazil’s Under-17’s.

With Vasco, Magno has bagged two goals and one assist in 17 games. He would certainly be a project player, and Liverpool fans are a little mixed on the matter.
Some believe that Magno is a ‘big talent’, praising him as ‘really good’ whilst feeling he is worth investing in.
Others are worried that Magno wouldn’t actually receive a work permit, and is merely a cheaper alternative to Werner without improving Jurgen Klopp’s side right now.
