Liverpool are set to take on Manchester United at Old Trafford in their first game back after the international break.
Liverpool fans have hit back at Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, after he stated that playing them would be ‘perfect’ for his side.
United have been in woeful form since the start of the season, and were beaten by Newcastle United in their last match.
The Red Devils currently sit just two points above the relegation zone, and face the daunting prospect of having to host Liverpool next.
Solskjaer thinks that the Liverpool game comes at a perfect time for his side though.
“The Liverpool game next is the perfect one for us,” Solskjaer said to the Liverpool Echo.
But Liverpool supporters think that Solskjaer is very wrong with his analysis.
It is hard to think of a time in recent memory where United have gone into a game with Liverpool as such heavy outsiders.
Liverpool have won every Premier League match so far this season, while the Red Devils sit just two points above the relegation zone.
The pressure is building on Solskjaer and another defeat against Liverpool would increase the frustrations at Old Trafford even further.
