The Reds ace is on loan at Glasgow Rangers and has been thoroughly impressive for the Ibrox side and for the legendary Steven Gerrard.

Following Glasgow Rangers beating Feyenoord at Ibrox in the Europa League, a number of Liverpool fans have been commenting on Twitter about the winning goal scored by the Reds loanee Sheyi Ojo to give Steven Gerrard’s side all three points.
The 22-year-old broke the deadlock for Rangers at Ibrox with a long-range thunderbolt on 23 minutes which left Feyenoord goalkeeper Kenneth Vermeer helpless, a goal especially crucial given James Tavernier has spurned the opportunity to give the Light Blues the lead from the penalty spot not long beforehand.
Ojo, who has claimed an impressive five goals and four assists from just 12 Rangers games this term (Transfermarkt), also had an effort cleared off the line by Feyenoord defender Eric Botteghin later on in the first half.
Needless to say quite a few Liverpool faithful were pleased with their player impressing so much north of the border for one of Anfield’s greatest legends and made their feelings known on social media:
Ojo learned the ropes at MK Dons but moved to Liverpool’s academy in 2011 and came through the ranks there, but to date he only has 13 senior appearances for the Reds in all competitions, spending much of his time on their books away on loan to various clubs over the years, according to Transfermarkt.
