We asked Liverpool fans; Is Brendan Rodgers the right man?

Fans voted 2:1 in favour of the former Swansea boss. 66 per cent said Yes with the remaining 34 per cent saying No.
One fan who commented described Rodgers as a tactical genius who could surpass Rafa Benitez, and while clearly not all are convinced, seemingly the majority are ready to put their trust in him.
Tottenham fans on the other hand are wishing their board had taken the gamble. When it had looked like Redknapp would be off to manage England, Rodgers was a name who regularly cropped up as a potential replacement.
So we decided to put it to the test – With fascinating results.
We asked ‘Who would you rather have as manager next season?’
56 per cent of supporters answered Brendan Rodgers, ahead of the 44 per cent who answered Harry Redknapp.
One respondent commented they were ‘gutted’ to have missed out, while another replied they could not see what all the fuss was about.

Either way, both managers face big tests next year. Rodgers needs to justify his potential and hype as football’s next great manager.
Redknapp needs to produce another top four finish, and show supporters and his board that they were right to stick with him as the man to take Tottenham forward.
