Liverpool fans compare Mohamed Salah’s price tag to Everton’s signing of Yannick Bolasie.
Mohamed Salah has signed for Liverpool
Liverpool fans are convinced they have clinched the best signing of the summer so far with the club announcing the signature of the Egyptian last night.
Salah signed from Roma for a fee BBC Sport report to be £34 million.

Salah netted 15 goals in Serie A last season and the fee could turn out to be a bargain by current prices.
A year ago Everton signed Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie for £30 million, and Liverpool supporters have been making the comparison on Twitter, arguing that they have got by far the better player.
Bolasie’s debut season ended prematurely with the winger picking up a knee injury midway through.
At that point he had made 12 starts in the Premier League for the Toffees, scored once and provided four assists.
The difference with Everton’s fee for Bolasie is that they were buying a player who was proven in the Premier League, with his trickery causing trouble with Palace against Liverpool on more than one occasion.

Salah may have succeeded in Serie A but his previous Premier League experience was a flop with Chelsea.
That has been the only blot on his superb career so far, but it is a reminder that he is still a gamble at £34 million.
