The Reds full-back and academy graduate is now contracted to the Premier League leaders long-term.

Liverpool have been boosted by the news of academy graduate Trent Alexander-Arnold signing a new long-term contract with the Premier League leaders.
The 20-year-old, who has made 67 senior appearances for the Reds and scored four goals (Transfermarkt), put pen to paper over the weekend just days after fellow defender Andy Robertson signed a new deal himself.
Alexander-Arnold’s rise at Anfield has been a joy to watch for the fans, as he worked his way up and has now established himself as Jurgen Klopp’s first-choice right-back since making his debut in October 2016.
Under the youngster’s watch, the Reds reached the Champions League final last season and have serious designs on claiming a first English top-flight title since 1990.
In addition, Alexander-Arnold was included in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the 2018 World Cup, a tournament in which they reached the semi-finals for the first time in 28 years.
On Saturday, the full-back sent two messages on Twitter pertaining to his love of Liverpool and how he is “living the dream”:
Some fans took to the social media platform and, in response, expressed their love for a player they believe could go on to become an Anfield legend:
