The Frenchman came off the bench yesterday as Les Bleus defeated Croatia 4-2 in the World Cup final.
Already, Liverpool fans are hoping that there will be movement on his transfer to the club now his tournament is over.
Fekir sent a message on Twitter a couple of hours after the final, celebrating his new status as a world champion.
The Lyon attacker’s replies were dominated by Liverpool supporters, pleading with him to wrap up a move to Anfield.
Fekir came close to signing with Liverpool before the World Cup, only for the Reds and Lyon to fail to agree terms.
That should be all Liverpool need to hear, and as for Fekir, Reds fans have been letting him know loud and clear that they want him to sign.
