Liverpool supporters were less than impressed by Everton forward Richarlison’s celebration in midweek.
Liverpool fans have hit out at Everton forward Richarlison, after his tweet following his goal against Lincoln City.
Everton beat Lincoln 4-2 in midweek, with Richarlison scoring a powerful header against the lower league opponents to round off the triumph.
Richarlison’s celebration was a cause of much debate on social media after the match, as he took his shirt off and held it aloft in front of the Everton fans.
Many rival supporters thought that Richarlison had held the shirt the wrong way round.
However, Richarlison posted a quote suggesting that he mean to show off the badge to the travelling Everton fans, rather than his own name.
Even after the explanation Richarlison has not been let off by Liverpool supporters though, who have suggested he was far too over zealous with his celebration against a lower league side.
Everton’s win over Lincoln means they have progressed to the third round of cup, where they will take on Sheffield Wednesday.
