Liverpool may have some decisions to make in midfield at the end of the season, with a new target allegedly on their radar.
The Reds invested in Thiago over the summer, but injuries have limited his impact, whilst Georginio Wijnaldum could leave at the end of his contract.
Add in that Naby Keita is still yet to really get going with Liverpool, and Jurgen Klopp may well be tempted to bring in a new face in his engine room.
The Sunday Mirror (13/12, p73) report that Klopp has been given positive reports about Brighton and Hove Albion ace Yves Bissouma, ahead of potentially launching a move.
Liverpool want Ben White too, but Bissouma is a particularly interesting target having impressed for Graham Potter’s side this season.
Bissouma, 24, has shown the ability to carry the ball through midfield thanks to his fine technical ability, whilst he also has the athleticism to be a box-to-box player.

The Mali international has a similar playing style to Naby Keita, and Liverpool fans seem keen on the idea of luring him to Anfield in 2021.
Some called Bissouma ‘quality’ and a ‘baller’, believing he would be a ‘great’ signing for Liverpool next year.
Others are delighted that Liverpool are ‘finally’ eyeing up Bissouma, suggesting that he would be the ideal Wijnaldum replacement as he is a ‘machine’ in midfield.
