Some Liverpool fans want new Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard to bring a 19-year-old to Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership.

Since Steven Gerrard joined Rangers, there has been no shortage of Liverpool-related speculation about who the new Gers manager should sign this summer.

From Dominic Solanke to Martin Skrtel, Rangers are linked with quite a few names who have graced Anfield past and present.

And some Liverpool fans on Twitter have questioned why Gerrard isn’t making a move for Yan Dhanda.

According to The Daily Mail [15-05-2018, 14:51], Swansea City are close to signing the 19-year-old, who became the first player of Indian heritage to sign for the Reds.

Dhanda played under the now-Rangers boss during his stint in charge of Liverpool’s youth side, and here is how supporters of the Merseyside club reacted to his imminent exit.

The highly-rated midfielder can play centrally or on either wing, and someone of that versatility may have been very useful for the Ibrox outfit.

Nevertheless, it looks irrelevant as his move to Swansea creeps nearer, but if he shines in the Championship next term then the Rangers boss might be asking himself why he didn’t move.
