Shaqiri has told Langenthaler Tagblatt, as translated by talkSPORT, that he is “disappointed” that he is not getting playing time at Liverpool.
The former Stoke City winger has also suggested that he could leave the Reds in the summer transfer window, and has said that he is not happy at sitting on the substitutes’ bench.
The 27-year-old Switzerland international winger made 11 starts and 13 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool last season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
