Norwich City are out of the FA Cup after losing in extra time to Manchester United on Saturday evening.
The Canaries are set for relegation back to the Championship at the first time of asking, but will have been hoping to spring a shock in the FA Cup.
After a dour first half, United did snatch the lead at Carrow Road, as Odion Ighalo reacted quickly to turn the ball home from close range.
Norwich bagged a superb leveller through Todd Cantwell, as he drove forward before unleashing an unstoppable drive into the bottom corner of the net.
Norwich took United all the way to extra time, but Harry Maguire’s finish prevented a penalty shoot-out and sent the Red Devils through.
It just wasn’t to be for Daniel Farke’s men, but playmaker Cantwell certainly caught the eye again – particularly among Liverpool fans.

The Independent reported earlier this year that Liverpool had been keeping tabs on Cantwell, and Reds fans seemingly want him signed.
A number of fans took to Twitter to praise his display last night, branding him as the ‘new Adam Lallana’ whilst wanting him to replace the outgoing Liverpool midfielder.
Others believe he is ‘a baller’ and ‘absolutely class’, picking him out as another relegated signing after Gini Wijnaldum, Andrew Robertson and Xherdan Shaqiri in recent years.
