It’s hard to focus on any other Liverpool player than Alisson after Sunday’s win over West Bromwich Albion – but Thiago really excelled.

The Reds were behind at already-relegated West Brom thanks to Hal Robson-Kanu opener, before Mohamed Salah bagged an equaliser.

Liverpool’s hopes of a win were dwindling, but goalkeeper Alisson came up for a last-minute corner and planted a superb header into the net.

The Brazilian’s unbelievable moment handed Liverpool all three points, and gave them real hope of sneaking into the top four.

Alisson is stealing all the headlines, but Liverpool fans have been picking out midfielder Thiago for praise despite the goal.

Thiago has come in for criticism this season, with some feeling that he hasn’t quite lived up to his billing since joining from Bayern Munich last summer.

Fans have been blown away by Thiago though, branding him a ‘genius’ whilst claiming that he was the best player on the pitch and his performance shouldn’t be overshadowed by Alisson’s goal.

Others think the disrespect needs to stop and that everyone needs to realise just how good Thiago has been for months now having turned in another great display on Sunday.
