Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Thiago against Manchester United this evening.
Thiago was in action for Liverpool in their Premier League game against United at Anfield.
It was the Spain international central midfielder’s home debut for the Reds.
The 29-year-old joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2020, but a knee injury in October had been affecting him.
Thiago is now fit and available, and the former Barcelona star started against United this evening.
The former Bayern star played well for Jurgen Klopp’s side. Thiago was brilliant on the ball, spread the passes nicely, imposed himself in the middle of the park, and came close to scoring as well.
According to WhoScored, Thiago took two shots of which one was on target, played three key passes, had a pass accuracy of 86.2%, took 119 touches, attempted five dribbles, and made three tackles, seven interceptions and one clearance.
Some Liverpool fans were impressed by the display produced by Thiago against their bitter rivals United and have raved about him on Twitter.
