Liverpool and Everton are reportedly interested in the 24-year-old.

Liverpool fans appear to be on board with the rumour about a summer swoop for Kerem Demirbay.
Italian publication News Mondo reported early in January that Everton wanted the Hoffenheim star but, according to the German outfit, their Merseyside rivals are now in the reckoning.

And it looks like fans of the Anfield club are in favour of signing Demirbay – who played 180 minutes against the Reds in a Champions League playoff this season – when the window re-opens.

Demirbay, who has two Germany caps, would not come cheap, however, and Bild added that he has a £28 million release clause.
That being said, that isn’t an awful lot in today’s transfer market and especially not for a player making as many waves as the Borussia Dortmund product is this season.
He has bagged three assists in four Europa League games for the Bundesliga outfit, in addition to 15 appearances in Germany’s top flight.
However, Demirbay will play no part in the rest of the season after being ruled out for the “foreseeable future” (Bundesliga.com) with ankle ligament damage which was sustained in Hoffenheim’s 1-1 draw with Hertha Berlin on February 3, which changes the complexion of the speculation somewhat.
