Liverpool have made a habit of snapping up players from relegated teams and turning them into superstars.
Andrew Robertson and Xherdan Shaqiri have been successes at Anfield and this summer it would not be a surprise if the Reds did the same again.
One option is England youth international Ryan Sessegnon, who has just been relegated with Fulham.
Sessegnon was prolific in the Championship and still managed to score two goals and provide six assists in a woeful Fulham team in the Premier League.
At just 18 he is a future star and he has been linked regularly with Liverpool over the past 12 months.
The Liverpool Echo recently touted Sessegnon as the ‘perfect project’ for Reds boss Jurgen Klopp and given the manager’s successful track record of managing young talent it’s hard to argue.
Sessegnon is capable of playing at left-back or on the wing, and in signing him Liverpool could land a back up for both Andrew Robertson and Sadio Mane, while replacing Alberto Moreno.
Fulham have been relegated, making it likely they will cash in this summer.
