Liverpool are being linked with a move for Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere.

Liverpool may already have one midfielder heading to Anfield this summer, but that may not stop manager Jurgen Klopp from pursuing another option in the middle of the park.
The Reds will finally see Naby Keita join the club this summer having agreed to sign him from RB Leipzig way back in August 2017, boosting Klopp’s midfield ahead of next season.
However, with Emre Can set to leave the club on a free transfer when his contract expires this summer, Liverpool may yet need another midfielder – and another freebie could arrive to replace Can.

The Mirror report that Liverpool hold an interest in signing Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, and could rival the likes of Everton and Manchester City in the race for his signature.
The 26-year-old midfielder has been on the books at Arsenal for 17 years having signed from Luton Town back in 2001, and has racked up nearly 200 appearances for the Gunners.
Injuries have taken their toll on Wilshere in recent years, meaning his role in the Arsenal side hasn’t been quite as prominent as he’d have hoped, and with no deal on a new contract seeming close, a summer departure looks inevitable.

Liverpool could offer Wilshere a move to Anfield this summer as they weigh up replacements for Can, but fans have offered something of a mixed reaction to the rumours on Twitter.
Reds fans generally aren’t overly interested in seeing Wilshere arrive this summer, with many concerned about his injury record in recent years, preferring not to take a chance on him even on a free transfer.
