Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has been linked with a move to Barcelona.

The international break is usually one of boredom for fans, but there always tends to be a number of bizarre rumours that emerge over the course of those breaks.
It’s a slow time for many, and with the January transfer window inching ever closer, transfer rumours are starting to emerge from all corners of the globe.
Take Spain for instance. Mundo Deportivo claimed over the weekend that Barcelona were looking for a new striker, seemingly eyeing up an heir to Luis Suarez given that he’ll turn 33 in January.
Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford and Lautaro Martinez are all believed to be on their radar, and so is Liverpool star Roberto Firmino, who has four years left on his £180,000-a-week deal (Spotrac).
Firmino may not make as many headlines as Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah, but he’s just as important to the vaunted Liverpool attack, and is quite simply one of the finest all-round forwards in the world.
The 28-year-old has racked up 69 goals and 54 assists in 204 games for Liverpool, becoming an Anfield hero since his 2015 move from Hoffenheim, dazzling fans with his skill whilst also earning their adoration with his hard-working style.

Barcelona now allegedly want Firmino to replace Suarez, another former Anfield hero, and Reds fans have been reacting to the rumour over the last couple of days.
Many believe that Firmino will have no interest in a move to the Camp Nou, given how they have treated his friend, Brazilian international teammate and former Liverpool pal Philippe Coutinho, who was flogged to Bayern Munich after just 18 months with the club.
Others have been suggesting a price tag for Firmino, in the region of £200million, £250million or even £300million, whilst believing Barcelona would actually be a step down for him right now.
