Liverpool were linked with Napoli midfielder Jorginho today.

If rumours are to be believed, Liverpool are rivalling Manchester United for the signing of a very special player.
The Times reported on Monday that Napoli midfielder Jorginho sits atop Jurgen Klopp’s shortlist of players that the German wants to sign for Liverpool this summer.
Emre Can is expected to leave the Reds on a free transfer when his contract expires this summer and it looks like Klopp wants the Brazil-born Italy international to replace him in midfield.

The 26-year-old, valued at £25 million according to Transfermarkt, is an outstanding deep-lying playmaker who could and would make Klopp’s side a much better team.
And Liverpool fans on Twitter seem fully behind the idea of seeing him at Anfield next season.

Signing him won’t be easy, though.
The Sun reported earlier this month that Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is a big fan and there is no guarantee that he would join the Reds if a move to United is on the table too.
