Liverpool are still attempting to reach a Premier League points record after beating Brighton and Hove Albion 3-1 on Wednesday night.
The Reds took an early lead as Davy Propper gave the ball away in his own half, and Liverpool pounced with Mohamed Salah firing the opener.
Brighton kept trying to play out from the back but were again picked off, with Jordan Henderson smashined home the second.
Leandro Trossard pulled one back for Brighton, but Salah headed in the third to give Liverpool a comfortable win on the South Coast.
Liverpool are now nine points away from a new record, and they have four games left to do it, meaning Jurgen Klopp’s men can sense more history.
A number of players starred last night, particularly goal hero Salah and midfielder Naby Keita, but Roberto Firmino showed up with a big display too.

The Brazilian hasn’t scored a Premier League goal since the 23rd of January now, and has just three goals in his last 20 games in all competitions.
However, he pressed and used the ball well, giving Liverpool intensity up top that they just didn’t have when Firmino was on the bench against Aston Villa.
Fans recognised his contribution even if he didn’t get a goal or assist, believing that he was Liverpool’s unsung hero whilst being ‘much better’ and ‘back to his best’ last night.
