The Brazilian came on at half-time and made a big impact in the UEFA Super Cup clash.

Liverpool have won the UEFA Super Cup after a closely fought contest against Chelsea in Istanbul.
Jurgen Klopp’s side showed their heart and bottle to best the Blues 5-4 in a late night penalty shoot-out.
It was a frustrating game in some ways for both sides, with plenty of offsides and nearly moments bringing the game to a gruelling extra time period and penalties, after a 2-2 draw.
Nonetheless Liverpool will be delighted to be rewarded for their efforts, lifting the trophy to add to their European collection.
One player that caught the eye of Liverpool fans and neutrals was Brazilian Roberto Firmino. The striker came off the bench at half-time to give the Reds a bit of added firepower after a difficult first half.
Klopp’s decision worked, with the player immediately putting the Blues’ defence under pressure and forcing them to concede. It was his contribution that allowed Sadio Mane to finish a simple chance.
He also made the classy run and pass for Mane to net his and Liverpool’s second of the game, as well as netting his penalty in the shoot-out.
Having also created an assist during the English Premier League opener against Norwich City, the 27-year-old appears intent on picking up where he left off last season.

He was a big performer throughout 2018/19, scoring 16 goals and assisting eight times. If he can increase those numbers as well as maintain his all-round game, Liverpool will be well on their way to even more trophy success this term.
These fans were absolutely delighted with his display against Chelsea, taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on his performance and impact…
