Roberto Firmino reportedly missed Liverpool training on Monday.

Roberto Firmino of Liverpool rues a missed opportunity during the Premier League match between Liverpool and AFC Bournemouth at Anfield on February 9, 2019 in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

Liverpool fans on Twitter are worried by a report about Roberto Firmino.

According to Sky Sports, the Brazilian attacker missed Jurgen Klopp’s training today, on the eve of tomorrow’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.

Firmino reportedly has a virus but it remains to be seen whether he can recover in time for the first leg of tomorrow’s last-16 contest at Anfield.

Klopp will already be without star defender Virgil van Dijk through suspension, while Joe Gomez – and potentially Dejan Lovren – will miss out with injury.

Here is how Reds fans reacted to possibly missing Firmino too.

If Firmino is out, it leaves Klopp with the option of Divock Origi or Daniel Sturridge to feature in the three-pronged attack with Sadio Mane and Mo Salah.

Xherdan Shaqiri could also come in if the German manager is feeling really creative.

Van Dijk will be available for the second leg at the Allianz Arena but, with Klopp being forced to play a depleted defence, Bayern could potentially do most of the work in this tie tomorrow.
