Liverpool fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that Andrew Robertson will be handed a new contract.
According to The Mirror, Liverpool will hand Robertson a big pay rise which will almost double his current wage.
It has been reported that the left-back’s new deal will see him earn more than £60,000 per week.
Robertson joined Liverpool from Hull City in the summer of 2017 for an initial transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £8 million.
As the season progressed, the Scotland international established himself as the first-choice left-back in Jurgen Klopp’s team.
The former Dundee United star also showcased his talent and quality in the Champions League, and played a key role in Liverpool’s progress to the final of Europe’s premier club competition.
