Liverpool will be signing a senior player this summer, according to a report.

It looks like Liverpool might be signing a first-team player this summer after all.
It’s been a very quiet transfer window for the newly-crowned Champions League winners, who have signed just the one player – Sepp van den Berg, a 17-year-old defender.
But according to The Telegraph, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp does want to sign a senior player this summer, despite his claim that the return of injured players, like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, were ‘like new arrivals’.
Here’s how fans of the Anfield club reacted to The Telegraph‘s report:
As things stand it seems like the first-team player in question might be Nicolas Pepe.
According to Il Napolista, the red-hot Lille winger would prefer a move to Liverpool over Napoli, though Manchester United have also been heavily linked.
He is the most high-profile player that Klopp has been seriously linked with in recent weeks and fans of the Merseyside club would surely love to see the £70 million-rated star arrive in England.
