Liverpool sold the Brazilian wizard to Barcelona nearly 18 months ago.

Phil Thompson risked upsetting fans of former club Liverpool last weekend by admitting his ongonig affection for Philippe Coutinho.
In fact, the Sky Sports pundit said that he would have him back at Anfield ‘in a heartbeat’.
The Brazilian schemer joined Barcelona from Liverpool nearly 18 months ago, but things haven’t really gone to plan for Coutinho.
The 26-year-old is a divisive figure among a lot of Reds fans. Some believe that he has made his bed and should sleep in it, while others feel that he would still improve Jurgen Klopp’s squad on Merseyside.
Here’s how Liverpool fans reacted to Thompson’s comments.
Considering Liverpool fetched around £105 million for him, the Spanish side wouldn’t be selling him for a cut-price at this stage.
Klopp would have to spend mega money on bringing him back and is he worth it? Well he’s a fantastic footballer obviously, but there’s already a brilliant balance to this Liverpool side and it makes little sense to disrupt that to accommodate Coutinho.
They have reached two Champions League finals in two years without the former Inter Milan playmaker, which is damning evidence that they don’t strictly need him.
