Liverpool needed to find a new attacker over the summer, in order to offer some help to the likes of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
A number of names were linked, but Liverpool struck gold as they lured Diogo Jota from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Anfield.
Jota has been sensational so far, and exactly what Liverpool needed having offered a consistent goalscoring threat from the bench or in starts.
Still though, Liverpool continue to be linked with big-name attackers, with Kylian Mbappe regularly touted for a move to Merseyside.
This weekend though, it was Juventus star Paulo Dybala being linked with a move to Anfield, with 90Min claiming he has been offered to the Premier League’s so-called ‘big six’.
The 27-year-old’s contract expires in 2022, meaning he is now in the final 18 months of his deal and could be signed for much cheaper than usual.

He could fit in as a false nine in Jurgen Klopp’s system, and could be another big-name acquisition just like Thiago Alcantara, who was signed thanks to a similar contract situation.
Liverpool fans seem split on Dybala, with some suggesting that he doesn’t fit at Liverpool right now and wouldn’t be content with being on the bench at Anfield.
Others would love to see Dybala join, believing that he could shine like a diamond for the Reds and could bring a wow factor to Liverpool’s already superb attack.
